Sub-Contract Engineering
Kart Components also offer sub-contract engineering services specialising in low to medium volume turned parts upto 60mmØ in a range of materials including aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel and copper. We work to dxf files, drawing or Fagor machine programs. Ancillary services are also available including finishing and assembly. An overview of our principal services is detailed below.

CNC Turning
We can turn most materials upto 60mmØ and 1m in length. We use tooling of the highest quality, the latest diamond technology.

CNC Milling
Our milling capacity is x: 400mm, y: 250mm, z: 250mm.

CNC Drilling
Jigs can be made for components up to a window size of x: 300mm, y: 200mm, z: 200mm.

Grinding
We operate an NC surface grinder with a working bed of x: 2000mm, y: 400mm, z: 800mm.

Slotting
Slotting can be carried out on bars upto 3m long and 250mmØ.

Aluminium Castings
We work closely with a local foundry who supply the bulk of the aluminium castings used for wheels and other Karting components. Should you have a need for machined cast aluminium parts we can help you with mould design, casting, machining and finishing.
